PMKISAN GoI is a downloadable file that provides access to the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi initiative. This free mobile tool, developed by NIC eGov Mobile Apps, allows Indian farmers to register for the program, check payment status, and read program requirements. While the app has a simple and user-friendly interface, its functionality is limited, primarily serving as a portal for checking status.

The PM-KISAN program, also known as Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, is a central sector scheme designed to support Small and Marginal Farmers (SMFs) in India. It provides ₹6,000 per year in three installments as minimum income support to farmers. The aim is to help farmers grow healthy crops and avoid relying on moneylenders for farming expenses.

However, farmers often face difficulties in traveling to process their accounts. To address this issue, the PMKISAN GoI app was created. This app allows farmers to manage their PM-KISAN accounts conveniently. Upon opening the app, users are presented with a straightforward interface featuring six options.

The "Beneficiary Status" option enables farmers to check their status, while "Edit Aadhaar Details" allows them to correct their Aadhaar number. "Status of Self-registered Farmer" displays registration status and payment details. "New Farmer Registration" is where farmers can self-register for the program. "About the Scheme" provides comprehensive information about PM-KISAN, and "PM-Kisan Helpline" serves as the contact section.

Despite its seemingly simple design, the app has some limitations. Editing information is not straightforward, and certain details are not displayed. However, the app still serves as a useful tool for checking payment status and accessing program information.
